Thank you for visiting our web site, here you’ll find all the information you need to make the most important decision of your driving future.
At In Gear Driving School we do things a bit differently to the other driving schools. Since 2004 we’ve been working and adapting a ‘coaching’ formula to make learning to drive as simple and easy as it can be, to help you achieve your goals. The national average of instructed hours is 47 combined with 20 hours of private practice. On average In Gear students have 25 instructed hours. In 2011 58 In Gear students took their driving tests, 42 of them passed first time.
You’ll see by our cars how different we are, we use new Audi A1 1.6TDi SPORT, imagine learning to drive in an Audi! The Audi A1 is a very easy and comfortable car to drive, it has stop/start technology, air conditioning, power assisted steering, dual controls, sport suspension and great all round visibility. Driving Instructor Magazine voted the Audi A1 5 out of 5 and all our students love driving the Audi.
Andy is high grade instructor . He is a member of the Kendal and District Driving Instructors Association and regularly attends meetings to keep up to date with all the current changes in the learner driver industry.
We give lessons all round the Grange over Sands and Kendal area, email or ring us to see if your in our pick up area and see what offers we have to get you started on the road to a full driving license.
When choosing a Driving School here are some important questions you should ask:
- How long have you been teaching?
- What Grade are you?
- What other driving qualification do you have?
- What’s your pass rate?
- How many hours should it take?
- Is this your full time job?
